What Amy Brings to the Room

Amy's style is direct, conversational, and grounded in the realities leaders face. She creates space for audiences to think critically, challenge assumptions, and leave with a clearer path forward.

    Challenge Assumptions

Move beyond surface-level answers and examine what is actually driving the problem.

    Connect Strategy to Reality

Translate leadership, operations, and technology decisions into practical action.

    Leave With Something Useful

Give audiences frameworks and questions they can apply when they return to work.

Your Audience Does Not Need More Hype.

Business leaders are being asked to improve performance, lead people through constant change, and make intelligent decisions about technology and AI while keeping the operation moving.

Generic motivation does not solve that.

Amy helps audiences examine the leadership habits, business systems, and decision points underneath their biggest challenges. Technology cannot compensate for unclear leadership, broken processes, or missing accountability. Build the foundation first, then use the right tools to strengthen it.

"You cannot automate your way out of a broken process. Build the system first, then let the technology do its job."

    Signature Presentations

Amy's presentations are organized across two connected tracks: Operations, Systems & AI and Leadership & Organizational Culture. Each session can be aligned with the audience, event objective, and desired outcome.

    Operations, Systems & AI

You Cannot Automate Your Way Out of a Broken Process

What leaders must repair before technology can create meaningful value.

Organizations often reach for AI or new software when the real problem is an unclear process, inconsistent execution, disconnected information, or an operation that depends too heavily on one person.

Amy gives leaders a practical framework for separating technology problems from operational problems and determining what should be repaired, what can responsibly be automated, and where human judgment must remain central.

    Audience outcomes:

    • Recognize when a technology problem is actually a process or leadership problem
    • Identify operational bottlenecks before purchasing another tool
    • Distinguish process redesign from automation
    • Establish ownership and accountability around implementation

Best suited for: Business owners, executives, operations leaders, associations, leadership conferences, and organizations considering or implementing AI.

Available as: Keynote, executive session, or facilitated leadership conversation

Practical AI: What to Fix, What to Automate, and What to Leave Human

A practical working session for leaders who want business value, not another disconnected AI experiment.

Some leaders are waiting because they do not know where to begin with AI. Others are experimenting with tools without connecting them to operational priorities.

In this interactive session, participants evaluate real workflows, identify practical AI opportunities, and determine where human judgment, relationships, accountability, and oversight must remain central.

    Audience outcomes:

    • Identify practical, business-driven AI opportunities
    • Evaluate whether a workflow is ready for automation
    • Separate useful AI implementation from novelty and hype
    • Protect work that requires human judgment, trust, or accountability
    • Introduce guardrails and ownership before expanding AI adoption

Best suited for: Executive teams, business owners, chambers of commerce, professional associations, leadership programs, and organizations beginning or reassessing AI adoption.

Available as: Interactive workshop, executive session, or private roundtable

    Leadership & Organizational Culture

    Stop Calling Her Resilient

Resilience should be respected, not used as an excuse to keep asking the same people to carry what the system refuses to address.

Resilience is often praised as a leadership strength. But sometimes “resilient” becomes the label placed on the person who repeatedly absorbs the pressure, solves the crisis, carries the responsibility, and keeps moving because everyone expects that she can.

Drawing from military service, leadership, entrepreneurship, motherhood, and lived experience, Amy challenges audiences to examine the difference between honoring resilience and depending on it.

This is not a message about becoming less strong. It is a call to build cultures where strength is supported, responsibility is shared, and resilience is not mistaken for unlimited capacity.

    Audience outcomes:

    • Recognize when resilience is being celebrated but not supported
    • Identify the invisible responsibility carried by dependable people
    • Understand the organizational cost of relying on the same people repeatedly
    • Replace performative recognition with meaningful support
    • Lead strong people without taking their strength for granted

Best suited for: Leadership conferences, women's leadership events, veteran organizations, executive retreats, professional associations, and mission-driven organizations.

Available as: Keynote, leadership workshop, or facilitated conversation
